APS Produce and Food Autonomy Lighting Launch Groundbreaking Winter Tomato Project

We’re happy to announce that APS Produce, the UK’s largest tomato grower, has officially partnered with Food Autonomy Lighting. As part of this collaboration, 2,880 FlexiGrow Max LED modules have been installed across three hectares of APS's greenhouse facility.

These advanced lighting systems are designed to deliver exceptional light uniformity and optimized spectra, supporting high-performance crop growth during the darker winter months. These advanced lighting systems are designed to deliver exceptional light uniformity and optimized spectra, supporting high-performance crop growth during the darker winter months.

This collaboration follows several years of strategic planning and technical discussions. APS selected Food Autonomy based on our strong technical capabilitiescommercial offering, and a long-standing relationship built on trust and shared innovation goals.

To further enhance operational efficiency, the lighting system is fully integrated with CultiMesh®, Food Autonomy’s wireless lighting control platform. This enables flexible, precise, and data-driven management of the growing environment, aligning with APS’s commitment to smart and sustainable greenhouse production.

This partnership not only showcases the power of innovation in horticulture but also sets a new benchmark for energy-efficient, high-performance lighting in the UK and beyond.

We’re proud to support APS Produce in their journey toward smarter, more sustainable growing and we’re excited to see the impact this technology will bring to their operation.
